Founded in 1970, the Sandwich Women’s Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs – the largest international organization of volunteer women.
Program meetings are held four times per year. The programs cover topics related to women’s health, leisure and education. These meetings are usually held the third Monday of the month at 7PM at the Daniel Webster Inn in Sandwich.
All club business is conducted at monthly Business Meetings, generally held on the first Monday of each month. These take place at a club member’s home.
A new Sandwich resident and young mother who couldn’t get out of the house to socialize much, I originally joined the club to meet like-minded women and friends. Over a decade later, I am still active in the club and have met life-long friends and feel so lucky to help women and children on Cape. What rewards this club has brought to me! –GH
