The Sandwich Women’s Club makes a difference in the community every day. Members prepare meals for the elderly, assist with the spring clean-up of our community outdoor space and host numerous fundraisers throughout the year. Sandwich Women’s Club members help support those in need in Sandwich and in the surrounding towns. No matter what their skills or interests, our members find many ways to get involved, develop lasting friendships and make a difference.
Founded in 1970, the Sandwich Women’s Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs – the largest international organization of volunteer women. For more information, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
The Sandwich Women’s Club is one of the most active volunteer organizations I have ever seen. The energetic and altruistic women of this club define the true sense of the word community with many events, scholarships and philanthropic endeavors. The Sandwich Women’s Club offers an enormous number of options for anyone who wants to give back to the community and have fun doing it. I knew I wanted to be part of that! –AS
- Serve monthly meals to the elderly
- Arrange contributions of toys and clothing for Cape Cod children
- Collect donations for the Sandwich Food Pantry
- Maintain and beautify a community traffic island on Route 6A in Sandwich
These are rewarding opportunities to give back to the community.
Our fundraisers bring fun family activities to the community and help support those in need in Sandwich and the surrounding towns. Touch-A-Truck is the Sandwich Women’s Club largest fundraiser. The event draws over 1,000 children and their families every year where dozens of unique trucks and vehicles are showcased at a huge outdoor fair.
Other fundraisers sponsored by the Sandwich Women’s Club include:
- Craft Fairs
- Yards sales
- Mother/Daughter Teas
